Casey Anthony isn’t guilty. But you know that. If you’re finding out from me, that’s great, but you really need to step up your news-gathering game. You couldn’t avoid this verdict. Everyone thought Anthony was guilty. Everyone made fun of Nancy Grace. And everyone compared C.A. to O.J.
Ham-handed comparisons aside, everyone did something. Everyone had a reaction to this case. Time has called it the “Social-Media Trial of the Century.” A bunch of different factors came together to make the Anthony trial something everyone had to have an opinion on. Twitter was made for the Casey Anthony trial. And the Anthony trial was made for Twitter.
